Felipe Polanco

Salsa Lessons

Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Style: Perto Rican

Content: Footwork, shines and basic partner work.

General Comment: Felipe Polanco is a master of shines, world renown for his coreography and style. This video is danced on 2, Puerto Rican Style. In this video he domenstrates the foundamentals of his style and a set of shine, grouped into two combinations. The shines are nice and simple at the same time, which is rare. Then some basic partnerwork is shown. The shines are shown with fixed camera, but with two angles, (front and back) as well as in slow motion. This is good, but the explanations are too hard to follow, to the point that Iprefer to watch it with no sound. Only defect on a otherwise great video.
